Is there a deal similar to the one in WDW, that if you eat at a certain restaurant you'll get prioty seating at the show?

Not per se, no. However, there is a dessert buffet for Fantasmic. Up on the balcony of the Disney Gallery is one location, and I believe there's also a similar program over in front of the Haunted Mansion, along the water. It runs about $50/person currently. You definitely need to call as far in advance as they allow (60 days? I don't recall) for reservations, though, as it tends to fill up quickly.

I booked the Fantasmic dessert for my trip next month and just wanted to verify that it is definitely 30 days out for this one!
You also use the reservations number instead of the dining number to book it. The number is (714) 781-4400. It is recommended to call right when they open, just like the Cinderella breakfast at WDW. The cool part is...on the East Coast where I am, that means 11am instead of 8am when their office opens!
Let me just add that I, too, think the price they charge for this is pretty outrageous on its own, but it's more of a "once in a lifetime" thing that really makes it special, so I did it for Mom and Dad's Anniversary! I can't wait to experience it with them! They will certainly appreciate not having to line up an hour or more early and sitting on the ground in that crowd!

It is NOT 30 days - it is actually one month in advance. I didn't get my seats because of it! :fork:
I counted backwards 30 days from Saturday September 17th and wound up with Friday September 19th. I called right at 8 am and the CM I spoke with said they were all sold out until the 19th and that I should have called on August 17th. I don't understand - that's 32 days, not 30! The CM told me it's
not 30 days - it's one month i.e. August 17th for Septembr 17th!
That means no dessert buffet or balcony seating for me!

Sorry about not getting your reservations.
Now that I think about it....I called on August 23 for September 24 seating and had no problem. That's 32 days.....Hmmmmm....
The reason I posted the "30-day" item above was not to start an argument, but to realay what the CM I spoke with told me on the phone. He mentioned that a week earlier when I called and then told me which day to call back on.
I guess that's the secret to calling in on the right day then....call far in advance and ask them which day to call back.
It never would have dawned on me that I hadn't called in on the 30-day mark until you brought it up!
