Fantasmic?

I'm going to DL on 5/31 for 3 days, and I've been trying to find the status of Fantasmic. Will it be down then? I don't see any shows scheduled for the days we'll be there. much less all of May.

Fantasmic! returns to the Disneyland Resort in mid June.

How long was it down? And do you know why?

It was down for if I remember right, 6 months? Reason: They were doing the cleaning of the Rivers of America. They have also refurbished the Fantasmic fountains and some other effects.

According to the Disneyland website, Fantasmic! is scheduled to return on July 3, 2003 after a long down period. Unfortunately, I've missed Fantasmic! on my last two annual trips to Disneyland. I did however obtain a very good video off of eBay by Fantasmic!_filmer. Hopefully I'll be able to catch Fantasmic! in person on my next trip!
