Fantasmic Solo?

Going on a solo trip in September and am wondering if it is really necessary to line up for Fantasmic early seeing how there will just be me. Is it possible that I could just find a seat maybe 15 min before showtime?

Yeah I would think you would have a good chance of fitting in on the end a row somewhere. If you really want to be 100% safe though, get there 45 mins before.

I was solo at Fantasmic twice last week... if there is a 9pm and 1030pm show, you will have a higher chance of getting in (solo or not) at the 1030pm show. The 9pm show is usually packed and even more so if it is the only show of the night. I would say get in line about 20 minutes before showtime - they let people in around that time and the best places to sit are in the middle where Mickey and the mountain will be.

Check out my solo report later today.

My brother in law was by himself( my sister in law went to dinner with her mother) and he walked right in just before it started and sat in the middle section midway down. He said that had he not been by himself he would have never had such a good seat! Good luck!

I did Fantasmic when I did my first solo trip om October 2007. Unfortuantely I was part of the tail end of crowd and ended up standing way up in the back of the upper bowl.

Still, though, had a great view.

I guess it all depends if you are lucky enough to find a seat.

I remember on my solo trip I got there and lined up and it stunk. I waited forever by myself with no one to talk too except for my hotdog. He did not last long. Every time he spoke I got mad at him and bit him. Eventually there was nothing left until I got popcorn and they would not shut up either and they vanished too.

How early did you and your hot dog get in line? lol

That was funny. On my solo trip, I enjoyed going through my photos and correcting them on my camera.

I go to Fant! by myself most of the time and I like to sit front row center section so I get there pretty early. If you don't want that good of a seat probably an hour will do, but with the reduction of shows that's not always the case.

I never wait in the line. My daughter and I go in at the last minute when everone is seated and we have usually been able to find a spot for the two of us. If we can't we stand in the back. I won't wait in line for 2 hours to see the show.
