Fantasmic Ride Idea

I thought of an idea to replace The Great Movie Ride and it would be a sure E-Ticket for Disney's Hollywood Studios. This would be a Fantasmic ride. This would be a robotic arm ride through the Fantasmic show like the Harry Potter and The Forbidden Journey Ride.

The actual ride sections with audio animatronics and real sets would be the stage portions, and the epic/mesmerizing parts. By epic parts I mean the ending with the villains, and by mesmerizing I mean the eye candy.

The simulator section that you would be looking at a screen would be the clips from the classic movies (like the water projections in the show)but on a screen making you feel surrounded in the film.

Or maybe we can take out the two Sunset Boulevard Theaters to make room for this big ride.

Or we can try to put it in Fantasyland! (Might be a little too late for that)

That would be great in FL! And hey, it probably couldn't probably fit in WDW, but let's say it could. :animwink: I had a somewhat similar idea when brainstorming for Mickey's Fun/Mad House, where after Goofy split paint (Epic Mickey) on the set of the Fab Five's next movie, the cartoons go astray, and it's up to Mckey and the gang to find them and round them up! The finale for this dark ride most likely be a Fantasia/Sorcerer's Apprentice like finale featuring the Phantom Blot (who escaped from the Epic Mickey scene at the beginning and was showing signs of himself along the way) in some way. You like?

Me gusta, anything with the Kuka arm and all the Disney characters. Maybe Philharmagic could be converted into this.

When I saw Up in theaters on Monday, I thought that it could easily be made into a Kuka ride. Your seats are furniture pieces and the Kuka arm can really simulate lift-off in a flight so that could be good, and I always thought that the climax chase with Kevin, Russell, and the dogs around the island could be good.

This would be great but I don't think replacing GHMR would go down well with many folk, it's such a well loved ride. Of course it needs some TLC like a lot of other rides at WDW but scrapping it completely would be a bad move.

Or we can take down the 2 Sunset Boulvard Theaters to make room for this ride.
