Which restaurants at Disney Studios are part of the Fantasmic prefered seating?

Can I get a PS ressie w/in 2 or 3 days of calling? (i.e. call this Mon. for a Thurs. PS-for 8/22/02?)

Hollywoods and Vines, Prime Time, and Brown Derby, don't which other, but I'm sure about these threes.

Actually it is usually only Hollywood and Vine and the Brown Derby. When the park is crowded though they sometimes add Mama Melroses, the Prime Time Cafe, and the Sci Fi Dine in.

Ok, I just mentioned Prime Time because I've done the Fantasmic dinner twice and one of them was in PT, but now that I think about it, it was a very busy day at the park so I guess you are right.

Mama Melrose is a choice even when not crowded. But I did not know Prime Time was even a choice.

I was able to get a Fantasmic! package in the middle of summer calling on a Tuesday for a Wednesday reservation at Mama Melrose's. One thing to note: these packages are not like other PS in that you have to actually be on site to make the reservation. I tried to call from home beforehand, and they wouldn't let me reserve the package.

You are right, you have to reserve the PS at the park that day. You can not make these things in advance (due to the limited seating area).

Unless you are a resort guest and then you can make them at the front desk guest relations for anytime during your stay.

Here is what I did last April. Unless the policy recently changed, you can actually book a Fantasmic Dinner package up to a week in advance, but need to do it while at WDW. It doesn't have to be done at MGM either. You can make arrangements at any Guest Servces window at any of the four parks. We made our FDP reservation four days in advance and made the arrangements from Guest Services at AK.

Apparently any Guest Services at the four theme parks will be able to get you the Fantasmic Dinner Package reservation. We did it this way because we were there during Easter break and didn't want to end up missing out due to high crowds. It might not need to be done too far in advance if you're going to be there during off-season.

We ate at Mama Melroses. It was great. All 10 people in our party really loved the food and atmosphere. I'd highly recommend it.
