Fantasmic question

Has anyone been to Fantasmic during the slower times in December? Is the two hour prior arrival time necessary then? How can we see Fantasmic and the Osborne lights in the same night?

Agreed. 30 minutes will get you a decent seat. One additional note: Since the evenings can be a little cool in December, I would recommend sitting in the higher seats. I sat near the front on a breezy night and froze my a** off from the water effects. SO, consider what the weather is like, as you may want to arrive 15 minutes earlier to avoid that same situation.

Also remember...

It gets dark alot earlier in December. We had plenty of time to see the lights BEFORE and AFTER the Fantasmic Show!

For example, I think the lights will come on when it gets dark (around 5 or 6) and Fantasmic might not be til 7 or 8 (check exact times when it gets closer!) The park stayed open after Fantasmic to see the lights again.

:lookaroun I thought we were not having the lights this year because of the stunt show work?? Has it changed?

Yep, 30-45 mins should be more than enough that time of year-- AH, the water being on fire will warm you up, IF you are close, for a few mins! at least ha ha

I agree with the others. Half an hour to 45 minutes. I'd never seen Fantasmic at MGM and everything I read said to be there two to three hours before show start. Well, I followed and got there two hours before. Got center seats, but then proceeded to freeze for two hours due to the cold spell they were having.

Thanks for the help! It's been a few years since we've seen Fantasmic, and it's definitely on our "To-Do" list this year. But how can you miss the lights. Glad to know we can do both.

Ok so we are going in June 3-13 and not all in our group has done Fantasmic. We are a party of 12, if we decide to do this w/o the dinner package we need to get in line 2 hours before it starts??? thanks.
