fantasmic mama melrose diner menu question

i read this is the menu, ok mayb i'm a little slow BUt

Mama Melrose $28.99 adult/$9.99 child (3-11) not including admission, tax, and gratuity. Child's meal includes beverage and dessert. Your choice of one wood-fired Flatbread to share from Mama's rustic on-stage kitchen, as well as family style salad, and choice of entrees featuring Linguine Fra Diavolo, Oven Baked Stuffed Chicken Breast, and Char Grilled Filet Mignon with Gorgonzola Butter. Dessert: Mama's signature Fantasmic! Tiramisu. Alcoholic beverages NOT included.

What is a Filet Mignon. or linguine fra diavolo i only eat chicken and turky so i dotn know many ohter meats? any help will be appreciated, i'mtrying to figure out if myhusband will like anything on the menu? thanks

Filet Mignon is a really tender, but small, piece of steak. It's very thick, very tender and usually cooked pretty rare/medium (though I'm sure you could order it well done, though some people would gasp at the thought).

Linguine fra diavolo is a pasta dish with a special sauce usually including seafood of some sort (muscles, clams, lobsters, shrimp)? I think.. Someone might have to correct me on this.

The linguine is a seafood dish that is set in a spicy marinara sauce. My brother had it, and really didn't care for it. The filet was good, that was what I had. I also think the child's price was higher too, I might be wrong, but I think I paid more than $9.99.

Filet Mignon is one of the "best" cuts of Beef. It comes from a muscle that is not heavily used & therefore very tender (and has very little fat). Its very good and usually $$. (cooked rare to medium)

Fra Diavolo is a very spicy red sauce. Usually served with seafood of some sort. The oven Baked stuffed Chicken is like Chicken Parm, very good & comes with a big bowl of pasta.
The tiramisu is excellent.

We did this package last August and loved it. They were serving a salmon dish then & it was very good. I ate the whole bowl of salad by myself!

It seems like they change the menue around a little, you may want to call and see what they are offering. The Brown Derby & Hollywood & Vine also offer a package. :wave:

We did this last August, as well. My wife had the salmon and loved it. I had the Linguine Fra Diavolo, and it was fantastic! In addition to the spicy marinara (excellent!), the dish had mussels, clams, shrimp, and calamari. I'm not 100% sure of the four seafood items, but I'm 80% sure those were it. Whatever they were, they were fabulous! :slurp: :slurp: :slurp:
