Fantasmic Fastpass +

We currently have a Fantamic Dining package...but when making fastpass + selections i noticed I could
get a fastpass+ for fantasmic. Has anyone used this. Seems to me it would be worth it to not use a meal credit just to get into Fantasmic without waiting on the standby line.
