Fantasmic! Early Concept Art

I had Jim Hill on my podcast the other day to talk about the history of Fantasmic. And he mentioned on the show Don Dorsey's plan was originally to do a Haunted Mansion themed show on Rivers of America. And here is the concept art. What do you think of this, would it of been too scary for kids? or would it of been amazing.

I think this is a pretty neat idea, and the concept art looks fantastic. Though I feel like dedicating a whole nighttime show to the story of one ride is a bit much, so I'm glad the concept get fleshed out a bit into covering more. I think a "haunted" style nighttime show is still a pretty neat idea, could be a really cool special holiday thing for Halloween.
