Fantasmic Dinner Package December 2014

I called to get my Fantasmic dinner package for December 2014 and was told that there was only lunch available in December. Has anyone else heard that? I am skeptical, as she also started out the conversation that they only had one showing of Fantasmic that time of year, which I know to be inaccurate. I know they run Fantasmic at least two shows a night around Christmas, New Year's. Anyone have a dinner Fantasmic package booked for December? I'm also wondering about the Taste of Hollywood to Go and if that will be back.

Is this something that has changed? Because I know we have eaten later, more of a dinnertime, at Mama Melrose's in the past and gone to the 8 p.m. showing.

Taken from disneyworld.com. As far as I know, this has always been the policy:

  • The Fantasmic! Dining Package is available on all Fantasmic! show days. On days with multiple showtimes, reserved VIP seating is available for the first show only.

When we went in June I was told they no longer have the F! DinnerPackage for the second show because of the Fast Pass option.

We are going to be there Christmas through the 3rd. We have been there before during this time and know that there are always at least two shows a few days and sometimes three. I am going to look back to verify, but I'm almost positive we have done a dinner ressie (2012, I think) and then gone, but perhaps as someone said, now that there's FastPass for that they are not allowing it at all.

It's probably the same thing that's happening to us. We booked a Candlelight Processional Dinner Package this year. In past years you got preferred seating for Illuminations to go along with your package, but they are no longer doing that this year. The reason I was told they are not doing it is because you can get a FastPass+ reservation for it. So they did away with that part of the reservation.
