I have Fantasmic booked with the restaurant the Brown Derby. We've now decided to run with the Star Wars dessert package but I want to keep my dining time at the Brown Derby do I need to call and make the change or just not use the ticket part of the Fantasmic package? Are the menu choices any different with the Fantasmic package as opposed to the normal 2 dining plan credits?

Just keep it and don't go to Fantasmic. And yes it is different if you have the regular plan normally you don't get appitizers included (only deluxe dining plans include them) but with the Fantasmic package you get appitizers included so you get more with having the package. Now if you are on the deluxe dining plan there is no need being you get appitizers included anyway. 
Perfect thank you for clarifying I'm on the deluxe so no issue and will not bother calling.
On a separate note does anyone know if these are hand held tickets as I have no issue handing them over to another family if they can benefit rather than go to waste?

Yes it is a hand held ticket so you could give them away. Also being you are deluxe if you cancel you would get the same food etc but that will be so nice of you to keep it and give the tickets for Fantasmic package away.

Excellent glad I asked it's 4 adults 2 children so hopefully I can find someone in the park to give them to - would rather someone benefit from them
