fantasmic dessert package

Has anyone done this? Did you enjoy it? Are you basically just paying extra to get a good seat. This trip will be my first time seeing fantasmic so I dont know the drill. We are also going in early november so of course have stress over galaxy edge.

I have done this multiple times. Honestly, you are paying about the same you would just by eating at one of the 3 restaurants that do that. You get a main and dessert (usually a sampler). When it comes to fantasmic, you just take your tickets with you that they give you at dinner and you just look for the line that says Dinner package and then you can choose anywhere you want to sit in that section. It fills up the slowest. We usually get to fantasmic about 45 minutes before the show to just unwind and that pretty much gives you the pick of the seats in the section.

Just be aware as I assume your 180 days is coming up. Disney doesnt always have them available 180 days out. When we booked for our september trip last year, they didnt have it available until about June. For my trip this may, it was available at 180 days.
