Fantasmic Dessert Buffet

We did the dessert buffet this past Saturday and I can tell you it's NOT worth it. I think it was around $150 for 3 of us. We had premium seating, not balcony. The seats were right infront of Haunted Mansion. The desserts were nothing. There was biscotti, macaroons, rice krispys, cookies with jam, and chocolate covered strawberrys. That was it! No cakes, I mean there was no cheese cake within a mile. lol For the price we expected a lot more. Plus our seats were infront of a pole. So just a warning for those thinking about it. Don't do it!

That's too bad the dessert buffet wasn't what you expected. By the sound of it, it wasn't worth the money. I've heard this experience is worth it on the balcony, but since it's limited seating your chances of making it onto the balcony are not so great. :(
Other than the dessert buffet how was the rest of your trip?

The trip was great, but I do prefer WDW. Everythings smaller at DL. The lines though are awesome. There really weren't waits more than 15 min for everything! I mean its July! I loved DCA. I really can't see how people don't like that park. ToT is better at MGM too. I love Paradise Pier, it's so much fun. I would go back but I think I'll take a year or two off. Plus the flight was 4 hours and with my sister it seemed like eternity! :) 121 days til WDW!!

It seems most of the people who have a problem w/ DCA are locals. Most travelers love the park, myself included. It is a park that I think most WDW fans would love, since it in many ways mirrors sections of Epcot, MGM, and Animal Kingdom while having character of its own. It just wasn't created especially for the locals in California, which has been a problem for the park.

 Well, that's terrible to hear! I heard when it first started a few years back (at that time, only seating 6 -10 people in the balcony and the Disney gallery) it was supposed to be well worth the money (great food - perfect view). I was going to surprise my hubby with this sometime... Good to know I may need to rethink that.
