fantasmic at 1000, HS closing at 930?

hey everyone

so i was trying to make a list of the things i wanted to see and i noticed that on the day i'm going to HS, there are 2 showings for fantasmic.... one at 830 and another at 1000. But the website also says that HS is closing at 930.

am I missing something?

Nope this is fairly normal. At 9:30 you should generally be heading for/sat in your seats and be ready for the show to start and once it finishes you are escorted straight out of the park. If you are in the park at 9:30 but don't want to watch Fantasmic, you are asked to make your way to the exit.

Yup, pretty much this. Very similar to how Illuminations is at 9pm, but Epcot also closes at 9pm. When the show's over, go home.

At DHS they have the luxury of crowd control, by funneling you right to the park exit after the show.
