family discounts through DCP

My daughter just got accepted into the DCP. We've read about the room discounts for families but does anyone have first hand info about the amount of discount, how it's applied to the room etc. Believe it or not we had a family trip booked for Oct. when she got accepted. I'm hoping I can apply any discounts towards that room (and tickets!) Also do DCP kids get magic bands? Thanks for the help!

Yes i did a DCP last year. She can rebook a room with an employee discount 50% if shes staying with you or 40% if she isnt. and then they get 3 main entrance passes they can use 6 times each for family or friends. But there are certain blackout days for the passes for each of the parks. She will learn more about those when she gets down there. Any other questions feel free to message me. And i now believe cast members get Magic Bands as well.

Thanks for the info. Just one more question. I'm thinking I should keep my reservation intact and have my kid re-book at a later date. I'd hate to loose my room waiting for her!
