Fall specials 2016

Does anyone know when the fall specials will come out ? Or when they came out last year by chance? For late September/early October :) Thanks so much! First timer here :)

If you're working with a Disney travel agent, I've heard (from my Disney travel agent, anyway) that they often get a 12-24 hour "head's up" before a special offer comes out. We're watching anxiously for a fall offer, too (visiting 11/14-20), so If I hear anything from her, I'll post it here.

I applied for one a few weeks ago for the sole purpose of being eligible for fall discounts as soon as they came out. I don't plan on using it for much of anything else (if I'm going to charge something, I get better rewards on my JetBlue Mastercard, f/k/a JetBlue AmEx) but the standard card has no annual fee (not sure how the interest rate compares, as I'm a pay-it-off-every-month person so I don't pay attention to that), and will give us some minor discounts on Disney purchases and some Disney dining while we're in the parks. :)
