Fairytale Packages..one last question!

I have reserved this package for CBR in September. Over the weekend, dh suggested that since we saved so much on this package, we stay at the cheapest monorail resort. My research concluded that it would be contemporary standard but when I went to the disney website and put in for the days we will be there...it could find no room at any deluxe resort

My question is...do you think many of these reservations are impulse booking and travel agent holds that will not be used? or should we expect peak season crowds at a time that is usually very low crowds? And...do you think I would be able to upgrade our package to Contemporary standard if it becomes available and how would I do this?

TIA for any info!

Hi everyone!!! :sohappy:

I would suggest calling Disney to make your reservations. I can't believe all Monorail resorts are booked during that time. I do know the Contemporary is full, but would almost bet that there are rooms available at the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian.

I will tell you that when I called last week to book our Fairy Tale Package for July that I had to move my dates a week to get the All Star Movies. The reservationist told me that the availability was going fast as they were swamped with calls. The details do say that there are a limited number of rooms associated with the package.
