Sorry if this is a repost, but does anyone know the actual material used for the rear projection for Buzz and Madame Leota. I can see that it is hard and molded. But since it is rear projection, there needs to be another layer other than frosted plastic. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the info

I believe that Leota in WDW has always been a front projection. It's Disneyland that at least at one point was rear projection.

You are correct there, it was also fiber strand at one point like Paris's used to be. It was like that when the table used to move, but the rocking of the table would break the strands, so thats why the table was slowed down to practically nothing.

Actually, WDW is currently using rear projection for Mme. Leota, according to doombuggies.com, DL is using the front projection; that is why it is not a crisp as WDW's

Again, this is from doombuggies.com
