Extreme Makeover / WDW

Well, its my first thread I have started, and what a bizarre query it is!! :ROFLOL:

I have recently watched some programmes on UK:TV Style called Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. And so far in every episode the family is sent to WDW, no matter what part of the US they are from.

I was just wondering, does Disney have some sort of agreement or partnership with the production of this programme? I think it had one of the episodes an ABC logo in it, which made me think that was the connection.

Off-topic slightly, what a great show - always makes me see what good can come from people in the world!

The show itself is produced by Endemol USA (the company behind several reality tv shows including Fear Factor and Deal or No Deal) in association with Greengrass Productions (a subdivision of the Buena Vista division of the Disney Company).

I said it before, I'll say it again. Extreme Makeover/Disneyworld. Watch as Ty and crew upgrade and add loops to all your favorite Disney attractions. Watch them add Jack Sparrow, sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow to each and every attraction. Watch them paint Spacehip Earth in less than a week!! Watch them change Cindy's castle into a cake!!! Wait thats already been done. Watch them build a luxary suite inside Cindy's castle!!! Wait, thats already been done too. Just watch Ty take off his shirt!!! and then watch Paul cry!!!!

Note that they don't send them to WDW for EVERY house.

However, they DO go to hotels that are partnered with DVC. (Except for a couple circumstances)
