Extra ROE show on Monday night

Clearly one with enough money to say "I want my own private showing of ROE"

Wish I could do that. Actually, they don't even have to do the full show. I'd want to see the lighting/laser effects in all their glory; in other words, give me RoE WITHOUT the fire, fireworks, and Earth Globe and I'd be very happy. :D

You know you are a RoE Geek when.... :D

And yeah, I would want to see it, too.

I saw it that way once during a dress rehearsal for the Peace on Earth tag. It's pretty cool--lots of little things go unnoticed with the pyro going off.

There are several huge conventions going on right now on property, including Lotus and Grainger. I'd imagine there are a few more as well.

It's for a private party of about 4,000 convention guests. We call them "Quad Parties" at Epcot and sometimes several companies have parties the same night in one of four areas of the park. Tonight they will mostly be in Future World and World Showplace. So they won't be all over the World Showcase for Illiminations.

Been there, done that. :D

I always try to make it to the park whenever I hear they're doing testing for one of the tags. I'm proud to say I'm one of the few that saw the 25th tag twice.

Lotusphere is in town every year at this time. This is IBM's big collaboration user conference for the Lotus Brand of IBM Software Group

Welcome to the club!

I also got to see the very first full performance of Wishes with a lucky 15 people or so. That was a great night.

Although not quite the same thing, one of my friends from my first College Program and another one or two CMs were scheduled for a shift where they dispatched and rode around the Snow White ride as shells were being fired off as part of a test several months before the debut of Wishes. I'm assuming this was to determine the fallout area of the show and whether the ride could be operated while it was going on. It's kind of a shame that I didn't get to do that, since it was apparently an interesting shift.

An acquaintance of mine is at Lotusphere right now. Waiting to hear from him whether he was able to see the special showing. (Told him I was *very* jealous if he did) ;)

I have about 300 acquaintances at Lotusphere. I will ask one of them when they return later this week. (I work for IBM/Lotus)
