Extra Morning Magic Effects on Regular Crowds

To show how out of the loop I am on WDW (we have done DL our last two trips) I see there is Extra Morning Magic ticketed events. and I really had no idea what these were. I had not planned "around" these hard ticket events and see they show up at HS and MK on days we have plans to be there. Normally I would just try to avoid those days but with Extra morning and evening hours also factored in, and the fact I have a Be Our Guest Lunch reservation already at MK it's just too darn hard to schedule around.
So my question is do the events pretty much kill the point of being at rope drop because there will already be people from the paid event at the respective Fantasy and Toy Story Land rides, taking up lines? And if that is the case, do these people also have a jump on us pleabs for other attractions at the other lands like Space Mountain and Star Tours?

From what I've seen, the paid morning events only draw a few hundred people. So I don't think they will crowd up the park much. Now, the early entry that you get by staying on property? Those will jam things up pretty good!
