Extra Magic Hours

We are visiting WDW in August :sohappy: and I can't find how long each of the evening EMHs are. Does it vary by park? I'm assuming the times listed for park hours do not include the EMH.

Any information would be helpful. Thanks

Even though it says "up to 3 hours" it seems that it is never less than 3. Take the published closing time then add three hours...closes at 12 midnight then EMH are from 12 until 3 am. Son't forget to pick up your wrist bands.

There have been quite a few discussions on EMH recently and a quick search should bring them up. Hopefully they will answer all of your questions.

We did night EMH last August and the crowds were just as big if not bigger than daytime and we ended up leaving early.

If you're good at it, you don't even need the EMH's to have a great experience. However, they make it alot easier at times.

The evening Extra Magic Hour Benefit will always last 3 hours from the official closing time of the Theme Park offering the benefit. The reason for the "up to 3 hours" disclaimer is some of the EMH attractions may not remain open the full 3 hours.

One example would be Kilimanjaro Safaris. For their care and safety, our live animals are only "on stage" for a limited number of hours per day, so any attraction featuring live animals, may need to close before the end of the 3 hour benefit.
