I havent been to disney world since they started the nighttime extra magic hours, I would just like to know where in each park you pick up your wrist bands.

Go to the waltdisneyworld.com site and under the extra magic hours it lists the locations to get wristbands and what attractions will be open. They usually give out wristbands in well traveled areas. They give them out 2 hours before the park closes to the general public, but you might want to show up early. We noticed that they were giving them out earlier than the 2 hours.

extra magic hours are only for those who are staying at a disney hotel/resort, the wrist bands help sort out who is from a disney hotel and who isnt

Usually no sooner and don't forget . . .

The 2 hours before park normal close is meant to mean "usually" no sooner but wristbands continue to be passed out even after EMH begins for late arrivals. Also, be sure you have your room key/card as you will have to present it so it can be checked for the dates of your stay on property to verify your eligibility. I assume that is not true of children accompanied by their parents as they are not always issued room/key cards even though they can have them issued. That's for the evening EMHs. If it is a morning EMH the resort card will be checked at the park entrance and there is no reason for the wristband.

They normaly check them, sometimes they don't. They did on TTA, and some people were mad they wern't told abut this and had to leave while others walked on. But oh well. Corinne and I love it! Its a nice time there at night.
