Extra beds?

So, my dad asked me the other night if you can get an extra bed, like a roll away bed, at AoA. I wasn't sure of the answer, so I figure I'd come to the place where I'm sure I'd be able to find one.

According to the website, they have something called "a convertible bed" in the suites. Would that add extra room for you?

  • 3 separate sleeping areas within the living space, including a master bedroom with queen-size bed
  • A full-size sleeper sofa
  • A convertible table bed—a generously sized dining or work table that easily transforms into a comfortable bed

Pretty certain that they will only provide what is in the room. Bringing a roll away could be construed as allowing for a 5th person to stay in a room that has the fire code for 4. Not to mention, many of the rooms on property, trying to cram a cot in there would have serious implications regarding room evacuation in case of a fire. Either share the bed, or one person gets the spare blanket and pillow and makes a nest on the floor.

I believe that you can request a roll away as long as you are no exceeding the max amount of people allowed in the room. I have seen them at other resorts, so I would assume that AoA would be no different. There may be an additional fee for the roll away though. I would call the resorts housekeeping dept and ask them.
