external auditioners looking within Disney

I met someone who used to work for Disney that said that it was basically a hotbed for auditions- and I don't think she even worked in entertainment! She said a lot of outside auditions come to Disney ( and some not so outside, like shows at el capitan and whatnot)- and that she was able to audition for and do some cool shows.... is this true and how do cast members find out about this stuff? I'm going for my CP in august, and working in entertainment- and while my parents might die if I ever chose to give up my dream of going to med school in order to persue my dance career, I would DEFINITELY hit up any and all auditions that I might have a chance for- especially if they're really looking at disney cm's.... i figure whatever works out will be the best career for me but... did that make any sense whatsoever??! haha :lookaroun

Kcw you made more than enough sense to me.......very interesting though.

Personally ask yourself.....What job would make me happy from the inside out?????? Is money a problem?????

Once your parents see how happy you are, the comfort will set in.

Have a blast on the CP....I know I did......If you have any questions or feel a little nervous, dont be afraid to pm me.....

well how much i'll make isn't a huge issue for me- and i really don't know which would make me happier- it's not like my parents are forcing me to persue medicine or anything like that- it's been a dream of mine for quite a while...BUT i had always figure i'd give up dance for school once I graduated high school....and it's been proving harder than I thought...

haha i guess my original question that I didn't really get through originally, is that I'm wondering if this is really true about the auditions- and what types of things you guys have seen come to disney? like certain shows- Disney or non-disney, that have had auditions out there...??
