Express Plus Pass

Little different question that I haven't really been able to find the answer to anywhere.

We have purchased the Express Plus Pass for our trip, and did the print-at-home option. It says just take that along with our admission to the gate, which is easy enough, and I assume they will give us the actual "pass" at that point.

My question is, what exactly is the Express Plus Pass, physically? It is a book of tickets for each attraction.... a card similar to a room key with a magnetic strip they scan at each attraction.... or something else?

Hoping someone else has done this same process recently and can shed some light to satisfy my curiosity.

It's printed on the same stock as regular park tickets. Which is all well and good except for the fact that if you take it on one of IOA's many water rides, you are then challenged with keeping it dry on rides that are notorious for getting you positively soaked.

Have to try and keep that in mind. Maybe bring along a ziploc bag for protection

The card stock they use will hold up in water. I rode Popeye and Dudley back to back and was pretty soaked and the ticket I had in my pocket was fine. Its a pretty hearty paper.

If you printed your express plus pass at home you have printed your actual pass. This saves you from waiting in any lines once you arrive at the park.
If you are concerned about it getting wet/damaged, fold it up and keep it in a sandwich type sealed bag.

I wouldn't feel too confident taking it on the water rides without protection, at least wack it in the wallet.

They have express pass holders you can put around your neck, they're really convenient, and if they get wet, they stay perfect! I recommend them highly!
