Express Passes

We are going to Universal Orlando next week. This will be our first visit in 12 years. Since we are staying onsite at the Royal Pacific we will be able to use our room key for the express pass lines.

I have seen on this board that for those who purchase the seperate Express Pass, that not all rides participate in the express pass program. Is that the case for guests who stay on site?
Thanks,

Since you are staying at a Universal On-Site Resort you'll be able to utilize the express pass lines for nearly ALL attractions, including most shows. However, only a select few either don't have or require express:

*Pternadaon Flyers (This is basically because the capacity is horrifically low. It's a tiny little suspended coaster-like ride; it usually has waits exceeding 45 minutes. Unless the wait is 15 minutes or less, don't waste your time.)

*Water Slide at Fievel's Playland (It doesn't have it, nor is it necessary, the wait is usually only ten minutes if you really want to try it.)

*Front Rows of the Coasters (Hulk and Dueling Dragons. For Hulk you enter directly into the loading station from a separate area as the standby line, with the front row line on the other side. Just ask a cast member to put you in the front seat line if you'd really like to, but the waits for it are usually 15-30 extra minutes. As for Dueling Dragons the standby and express queues merge right before you pick Fire or Ice [the two coasters]. From there you can enter the Front Row queue or the All Other Row queue. Naturally the front row queue will be much longer. I reccomend if you want to do the front rows, go early when the crowds haven't shown up yet and just use the standby lines.)

*The play areas (Camp Jurassic, If I Ran the Zoo, Curious George Goes to Town, Fievel's Playland, and Me Ship The Olive are all play areas that have no waits whatsoever to enter.)

Everything else, even the smaller rides and shows like Storm Force and Caroseussel, have express pass. I'm sure you'll have a great trip!
