Express Pass question

After reading up on the Uni site and looking around, I have some slight confusion about the Xpass. Is it unlimited uses per day for all included rides, or is there a limit to how many times you can use it?

It depends which pass you have, I believe. If you get the express pass that comes with staying at an onsite resort, there is no limit to the number of times you can use it per ride. If you pay to add it to your park ticket when you are not staying on site, then I believe you are limited to one use per included ride.

ExpressPass Plus is once per participating attraction.
Unlimited ExpressPass Plus is unlimited use at participating attractions.

Unlimited ExpressPass Plus is included with an on-site stay, but both are available for purchase.

It is still listed on the Resort website as an add-on option for two-park passes.

You're right. I read in the Universal Orlando guide that it was no longer an option.

I honestly can't see why anyone would purchase that instead of just staying at one of the hotels. The unlimited pass is almost $200 per person.

Sorry, I should have added that I meant for on-site resort guests.
You get the Unlimited version. Ride as many times as you like, in whatever order you wish. A very few rides, like Harry Potter, are not included. But you can go early and ride HP...or just wait until near closing, which is what I do.

I honestly don't know what isn't included. I have an AP that let's me use EP lines at night, once per ride. Harry Potter and Rip, Ride Rocket are the only ones I ever wanted to use it at, but couldn't. I know RRR now has an EP line that hotel guests could use, so the only one that would concern me, if I was staying in a Uni hotel, would be HP.

Someone will know more than me, though.

As far as I know it may just be "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey" and "Pteranodon Flyers"

The on-site version was unlimited which was perfect. The longest wait I waited in was probably about 10 minutes for the Hulk coaster. It makes staying on site worth it!!

Fantastic. Unlimited would make the price worth staying on-site.
It is the whole reason for staying onsite. Last time we were there (in a September), I don't think we ever waited more than 10 minutes. And even that was for that Poseidon ride that takes groups of people at one time.

I get why Disney could not do this, but it really does make Uni so appealing.

It will be interesting when that new resort opens, since the express pass will not be included when staying at that resort.

It depends on what day of the week you are going and how much the room is vs staying off site. ie- weekdays are cheaper for the Express plus and for 3 of us on a Tuesday it may be cheaper to stay at a neighboring hotel and purchase express vs staying on site at $300/night. I prefer to stay onsite whenever humanly possible :P

It would be with us checking in on a Sunday(15th) and checking out on a Friday(20th) in September. Hitting the parks from the 16th-19th.

Personally, if you can afford it, YES! STAY ON SITE- but you ARE going in an off peak time- so some days you wouldn't need it- I wouldn't risk it though. When its not busy, we go in the "chump line" (as my son calls it LOL) just to see the difference in the queue :)
