Both have broken effects I consider integral to the experience (Yeti and the Chamber of Destiny). I guess in that regard, they are evenly matched.

Indy is probably the better ride, overall. But I will never forget the first time I saw the Yeti (when it was moving). It was seriously one of the most impressive and scary things I'd seen in an attraction up to that point.

I disagree on the importance of the Chamber of Destiny. Even when if worked, the effect was so quick and rushed that most riders never even noticed what was a very clever practical effect. The ride is just as effective without it, IMO.

For me, Expedition Everest is a mediocre, uncomfortable coaster with a very boring layout leading to a very lame finale: a broken animatronic that’s visible for about a second.

Any version of Big Thunder is 10x more fun than EE. Even the pre-closure no-finale MK version.

...

Hard disagree. If a Guest is fortunate enough to ride the attraction more than once and paying even a modicum of attention while doing so, it is easily one of the best "How do they do that?" moments in the park.

But, agree to disagree and to each their own.

Could also be the Boulder scene as that room moves as well. Last time I went, the last 45 seconds of the ride took us 3 minutes with constant stops in dark silence. Our entire car was howling with laughter as we sat stuck in complete darkness after the boulder scene for a good 30-45 seconds. Hopefully this fixes whatever was causing that to occur as you shouldn't have entire cars laughing AT your multi-million dollar E-ticket thrill attractions.
