Exchanges?

I took my (then) boyfriend to Walt Disney World for his 21st birthday last year, and as a thank-you, he bought me a glass rose in a bell jar (like "Beauty and the Beast") because he knew I'd been planning on buying one right before I came back from working there seasonally. The bell jar had "I Love You" etched on it.

Well, he and I broke up in September, after some really really bad arguments. Needless to say, I'm trying to not have anything that will trigger strong memories of him. I love the rose in the bell jar, but I don't want one that says "I Love You". Does anyone know if I'd be able to bring it into an Arribas Bros. store, explain the situation, and get it exchanged for one that doesn't say anything? I'm going back to Orlando for the Summer Alumni College Program, and if I can't exchange it, I'm not going to pack it.

I doubt you'll be able to exchange it if they custom etched that into it.

They didn't custom etch it. You can buy them with that etched in. I found that out when my family went for vacation over winter break. Liar said he had it custom etched in...and then I saw about 4 lined up with that etched in at the store in the Magic Kingdom.

Aww, I'm sorry. Well if they sell them like that, I don't see why you couldn't exchange it for a non-etched one. Good luck!

They couldn't exchange it because it was discontinued.
