I do not think it will be long be Disney offers "designer" Magic Bands.

Anyone else catch this bit:
"A 10% discount on MagicBands is available to Annual Passholders and DVC Members."

Think this refers to those wanting to buy additional bands or a sign that future AP holders wont get a band unless they buy one?

The former. Also, I agree with @DVCOwner that designs will be coming in the not too distant future. And hopefully purple as well.
