Everything You Always Wanted to Know About FP+

I may be a little grouchy but I thought it might be time for us to compile a ongoing list of the in's and outs of FP+. There are a lot of "how do I?" and "I am sure this has been answered before." posts. Maybe we can pool our collective knowledge and be the one stop topic on FP+

I will start.
1)You NEED to have tickets AND the ticket numbers to be able to use the My Disney Experience (MDE) app or website to prebook your FP+ selections. They can be made 60 days out for guests staying on Disney property and 30 days for everyone else, except CM tickets because CM do not have access to FP+ at this time. CM tickets can use the kiosks in the park the day of your visit.

2) MagicBands are free to guests staying at a Disney Resort and Annual Passholders. Everyone else can purchase a MagicBand but they are not needed to utilize FP+.
