Everest Related: Sir Edmund Hillary Passes away

The first man to ever scale Everest's peak, Sir Edmund Hillary passed away today. He was 88. He made history along with Tenzing Norgay by standing on top of the earth. He always seemed like a nice and happy and humble guy, my though6ts are with his family.

In the years after he climbed Everest, he actually spent a lot of time looking for the yeti, and eventually concluded that what some people had reported seeing was probably just a bear.

Aww, I'm sorry to hear that. At least he truly did live an adventerous life. My condolences to his family members.

Wow...I hadn't heard. He was always a personal hero of mine, and I salute him and his memory. All of us should aspire to do what has never been done.
