I am getting married in april 2010 :) and we want to do the WDW cruise. :sohappy: BUT there is no way I can do the cruise and then just go home without going to the parks. I went on line and saw that you can do 4 night at sea 3 on land but I was reading here that 4 nights at sea is just to short. Then I saw that you can do 5 nights but I did not see any nights on land in that package. Now for me I would want to do the 5 nights at sea first then do 3 nights in the parks. Time is a problem because My girlfriend, soon to be wife, is a school teacher and I work fulltime and go to school at night so we can only do this in the summer. I guess what I'm trying to ask is does anyone know if this can be done and has anyone ever done, 5 nights at sea 3 night land?

I recommend doing the parks first and then the cruise, as the cruise is much more relaxing.

You can make 2 reservations - 1 with Walt Disney World, 1 with Disney Cruise Line, and the Cruise Line will pick you up at most Deluxe and Moderate resorts for your transfer to the port (you need to purchase cruise line transfers). Doing it this way you can arrange whatever length of stay on land you want, followed by one of the cruises, or vice versa.

I have done the Cruise and parks three times. The 4 days at sea is plenty, I do not feel you need the extra day. I have also done the parks before and after the cruise. We kind of felt that the parks first worked well, because you can kind of wind down after the craziness of running the parks. Either way, Congratulations I hope you have a wonderful time...

We did the 4 day land 3 day sea for our honeymoon. I thought 3 days was a little short, 4 would be fine. But 3 is fine if money is a concern. If the land-sea packages aren't to your liking do like mentioned above and just make two separate reservations. You'll have fun.
