Legacy IP (70+ years) ✅

High merchandise potential ✅

Wouldn't require a ride system change/building gutting to make a half decent final product ✅

Extremely active IP ✅

Up for grabs ✅

Would just be awesome to have in Universal's portfolio ✅

There’s so much goodwill surrounding the franchise still, plus Universal actually owns the IP straight up

New Ghostbuster movies have also been complete slop
They've apparently been successful enough to keep making them. I liked Afterlife more than Frozen Empire, and let's remember: Ghostbusters 2 was unsuccessful at the time.

We do not speak of Answer the Call...

I sure hope they replace F&F with something.

This F&F was the WORST destroy and replace  by Universal!!!!!

If they correct mistakes and they make, they are ahead of the game compared to Disney.

They really need to get this right….and not just reuse the old system. I think Back to the Future as a dark ride concept would be so popular…especially if it goes FAST.

As I stated in the other thread, I also would like to see a new take on Jaws…using the new Mack rocking boat system. Could be a really scary and fun dark ride if done right.

F&F wasn't the worst attraction at UOR IMO but still, I think they should gut the building and start fresh. They were foolish to think that something designed as an add-on to a tram tour would be strong enough as a standalone attraction. Yes, I am aware that the original USF attractions also started out as experiences on the Hollywood tram tour, but there is a world of difference between looking at physical sets through tram windows vs. a simulator screen.

Outside of first aid... does anyone know what this building is? If it's some sort of general offices, maybe it can be moved to the EPIC campus and let this area expand?

I wouldn’t be terribly surprised if it just sits empty for a good while and then is used for HHN.

Hopefully whatever eventually Replaces it is a full gut or tear down. This ride system needs to be let go.

I would be down for a Godzilla attraction, especially if it allows SF to remain SF but maybe spruced up a bit, but I'm a lot more iffy on keeping the current ride system. They should be looking at new, more daring options instead of a quick retheme of a ride they built one too many times.
