Yes, it is pretty and very, very detailed, but I'll have to go with the original as the most "fearsome" looking. There is a sense of forboding and uneasiness as you approach the Hollywood Tower Hotel looming above Sunset Blvd.

I have to agree completly, so far this one looks too "new". The one at MGM just gives you chills when you see it, just cause it looks so creepy, especially at night. I'm sure the ride will be great, and I do like the amazing detail of this tower, I just prefer the older, been sitting around in decay for 70 years look.

I do wish the level of detail in these parks was achieved in the new parks of America (California Adventure)...However Everest is back to that standard
