The train station and entrance area is gorgeous. The designers really outdid themselves. The fountains are great and the landscaping is superb. I hope the park is that nice.

If you think it looks good during the day. Check it out during the night. You can see the spires of Space Mountain in different colors. The train station light up much like Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom. The lights are cool even at the esplanade.

Wow, someone's been slipping the imagineers some cash. The place is looking great! The fountain was awesome, not to mention all of the detail in the brick patterns on the ground and reailing designs. Cool! I also loved the sign.

Do you know if there is a reason for the windows on the trains??

I'm not sure I understand your question.
Do you mean the Mickey shaped windows?
If so those would serve the same purpose as windows on any train or mass transit system.

No, the windows on the trains at the park.

They seem boarded up, although they look slike ters.
It is just like the train at AK. The idea is to prevent people from seeing backstage areas. All of the seats point towards the park and you cant see what's on the other side.

Wow I am getting old. My eyes are seriously going on me. I didn't even notice that.
I would guess that it is some sort of protection for the glass before the park opening.

As I said above, I don't think there is any glass there. I think that is wood slats like on the AK trains. It will keep guests from being able to see the area outside the park.
