ESPN Zone at Pleasure Island

Awhile ago there were talks about moving ESPN To DTD from the Boardwalk..Does anyone else think that this could be a sign of them to bring it to Pleasure Island?

Originally there were rumors that the Virgin megastore or Disneyquest would become ESPN Zone..But, now that Disney is taking over the Food at Foodquest since the Cheesecake Factory has left it seems that DisneyQuest is going to be staying longer..

I think that's why he posted it. They are merely closing the clubs, not sinking the island.

As a brand - ESPN Zone bleeds money - I would not expect any further expansion.

If it's moved anywhere, it would probably get moved to WWoS when it's gets it's ESPNM overhaul.

At least, that would make sense.

I think it is better suited for PI. ESPN Zones are full scale restaurants and bars along with the interactive entertainment

Odd, from the reaction you would have thought they were going to use the island for nuclear warhead testing. Even odder yet is the thought that Disney might actually put something there that would appeal to a great many people.:shrug:
