ESPN world of Sports..

Never been there, but it seems like a pretty neat place to visit. It's such a huge hassle to get there with Disney transportation, so that's why we've never went before.

If you're staying at AoA, it's right across the street, practically. Having said that, aside from seasonal events, it doesn't seem like it has all that much of interest to non-sports people. I myself am not into sports (apparently pro wrestling doesn't count), so I've never been in a hurry to visit.

For the most part it's a bunch of sporting fields. So if you have never been to a high school/college/town sporting complex that has football, soccer, baseball, etc fields crammed side by side all around you, then it's worth a stop. Otherwise there isn't much to see. Baseball diamond, two indoor arenas, and 20-30 other assorted outdoor sporting facilities. And a QS location and gift shop (of course).

We've gone for a Braves game, a Pop Warner sporting event and a kids pass, punt, throw event. No other reason to go there other than those type of things that your kids might be involved in.... theres nothing to see worth while touring. Its a nice stadium but nothing unique about it. Not sure if anythings open when nothings going on.

It's just a big sporting facility. Unless you're an athlete participating in something there, then I can't imagine too many reasons to go there sightseeing.

It's ESPN so, if you like hockey basically be prepared to be disappointed.

Side note, I've never actually been there so I'm just being a jerk and complaining about ESPN's lack of hockey coverage.

Years ago there used to be a sports restaurant there and a gift shop which was always open. Similar to ESPN at BW. Are those still there?
