To say that I am looking forward to this trip would be an understatement. The closer I get the more I check my ADRs and make sure that my FP+ haven't magically changed. I am burnout and spent like I have never been before. My company started working with the NFL this year(we track everything on the field real time) and while it have been an awesome experience so far my fuel tank is at zero and I need some serious family and recharge time. So to recharge we do what we do best, head to the world. We are driving down from the Mitten again because it considerably cuts down on the travel expenditure and I don't mind driving at all. This will also be our last lengthy trip (we usually go down for 2 weeks minimum) since our 5 year old will be hitting grade school next year.
The players
Me, my lovely wife, and my two boys (age 3 and 5) will arrive for the first and get 5 days to ourselves at the Yacht club. We will be joined over the next week and a half by grandparents, brothers, aunts, uncles, and nieces.
The where
We have owned at Bonnett Creek for 8 years now and we have utilized it every year since we purchased it. So the bulk of our vacation will be spent there. But what's a Disney vacation wiout staying at Disney. We were lucky to get yacht club with free dining for the first 4 nights we are there. My kids don't know and my wife was supposed to be surprised but she also knows why you get advanced magic bands in the mail. So a total of 16 days away from home and work which should help am lot.
The what
Our boys have been going to WDW since they were born. They love it and we love seeing it through their eyes and I have a feeling that this will be a very cool age for them to visit. We decided to explore things we have not done in the past and return to some old favorite. We let each child pick something special that they wanted to do. My 5 year old is infatuated with The Land and the LwtL so he decided that he wanted to go on the behind the seeds tour. Due to an obsession with animals our 3 year old opted for multiple viewings of the lion king show at AK. My wife decided that she wanted to go on the pirate cruise that leaves out of the contemporary and searches for Peter pan. And I returned to my old favorite diving at the Seas. I will be diving at the 430 slot on Nov. 5th if anyone from here wants to wave hi. Between all that and 10 day park passes with water parks and a day visit to universal I hope to get the batteries recharged.
I am going to seriously put effort into putting together a real trip report this time. I make a post vacation movie that we love to watch but really enjoy everyones TRs here.
