What would you do for Epcot's 25th Anniversary?

Ready, Set, GO!

1. Spaceship Earth recieves a major rehab. The stupid wand is taken down and the sphere is painted bronze (It's temporary)

2. Honey, I Shrunk the Audience will close and a new 3-D show entitled What Imagination Can Do replaces it.

3. A new version of SeaCabs opens

4. Salmon Run Splash is built in Canada. Starring Koda and Kenai from Brother Bear

5. Mulan's Adventures, a new dark ride, opens in China

6. El Rio del Tiempo recieves a minor rehab, updating it.

7. New paint jobs around the park will take place. Updating Future World also takes place.

8. Leave A Legacy is gone!

9. Be sure to stay for Epcot's IllumiNations 25

10. Walt Disney's Tomorrow is a new exhibit in the former place of the Global Neighborhood

11. The Tapestry of Nations returns for one time only!

For Epcot's 25th, things should be a bit minimal and not put in too much.

-Go forward with Project Gemini as well as give Spaceship Earth a new paint job (similar to its concept art with it looking like earth)

-At least one if not 2 new countries in World Showcase

-If they can make something better, update Illuminations, if they can't, don't bother

- rapids ride in Canada.
- build Switzerland and the Matterhorn.
- Russia and Spain pavilions.
- update the Universe of Energy somehow.
- bring back Dreamfinder.
- reopen The Odyssey so there is more food!!
- open some sort of walk-through attraction (with perhaps a short film, etc) dedicated to Walt's original plans for Epcot the city. this would probably have to go in Innoventions.

- take out HISTA and put in E-ticket attraction based on going into someone imaginaiton (like what they wanted to do in SE but make it themed to the pavillion)

-Meet the World from Tokyo Disneyland finally makes its way to the Japan in World Showcase
-Wonders of Life rehab featuring a brand new Sensory Funhouse and Coach's Corner, digital restoration of all WoL movies, FASTPASS added to Body Wars (it helped WoL with the suprise Fastpasses), Food Rocks comes out of retirement to arrive at WoL, and the return of Well and Goods, Ltd. and Pure and Simple.
-Epcot: The First 25 Years is added to Innoventions
-THE WAND COMES DOWN
-SeaCabs return to The Living Seas
-Russia, Israel, Spain, Austrailia, and Greece are announced to arrive in World Showcase by 2012 at the latest.
-Brand New version of Illuminations 25 featuring the history of Epcot.

Rehab of SSE: a new omnivore system is installed to increase ride fluidity and to accomodate a new ride system feature. This feature is a robocoaster arm. Guest are suspended over the newly revamped AA scenes and experience fiber optic and CAVE effects in the newly designed downward spiral.

The wand is taken down after it finishes a period of hailing EPCOT's 25th.

The oddysey restaurant becomes a new technology themed restaurant.

A portion of Innoventions is dedicated to EPCOT (progress city). The exhibit includes a replication of the Progress City scale model.

Imagination Pavilion undergoes redesign to accomadate attractions upstairs and features a new entrance to both attractions from inside the main hall of the pyramids (which will have new lighting systems for amazing night colors).

a mary poppins family fun house.
ok hears what im thinkin,
disney make the house in the uk pavillion,
its basically a walk through adventure,you can fully explore the house and all of its rooms,except for possibly a few of the rooms and they could have shadows projected on them or even high definition screens showing famous clips from the film,
then you have a choice,go through the fire place and up in a lift type thing that takes you up the famous chimney sweeps rooftop scene,there could be a sort of stage show up hear where the infamous rooftop dance is perfomed.

or you can go into the childrens bed room where there will be a tojn of cool interactive stuff similar idea to minnies kitchen but inspired by the film.

or you may even choose to go for a stroll down the street,(this part and on wards would obviosly be in a warehouse type structure at the back of the building),where you can see bert as the one man band.

from here you have two more choices,you can either go to berts street paintings and amidst a load of smoke you arrive in the cartoon land from the film,(this again would be another lift type platform, the smoke would mask the lift moving downwards smoothly).
in this cartoon land there would be 2 attractions, the first would be a disney first, a carousel family coaster,basically each person rode a horse car that gently follows a track and recreates the famouse horse scenes from the film.
the second is another live show of the musical number from the cartoon part of the film.

the final option you have is to visit uncle albert down the road.
i saved this till last because it is the technology daddy.
you would wallk into the house in groups organised by a CM at the door to the house.once inside it is a huge TV surround show of the whole uncle albert floating scene.
how does it work?,il tell you
all four walls, the ceiling and the floor are huge HD tvs that on first appearence are real, they would create the illusion that you are in the room with mary,the children, bert and uncle albert,(eg on one wall would be mary and the children) it would only become apparent that all of the surfaces are screens when you float up to the 'ceiling,on the screen on the floor it would seem as though you had left the ground and every thing would move on the other screens to create the illution you had floated from the floor to the ceiling.

ok so maybe this sound confusing so i will try to explain further.
for an example of how the images would work ,with mary and such,is the same as when ellen makes funny faces whilst the CM tells you the rules.
each of the screens would stay active running a image. the same as when you see,in some attractions,like the jimmy neutron ride pre-show at universal.
in jimmy neutron there are 2 seperate screens and they each show different images that interact with each other,for example jimmy walks off screen of one TV and appears on the other leaving his friend on the other screen,as if you are looking through windows.

anyway thats my idea.
like i said the uncle albert house thing is pretty hard to explain but i hope you all got the gist of it.

actually now that i read back through my idea i think that the whole fun house idea is a bit cheesy.
i think that the uncle alberts house could be used though.
