Epcot tip board failing

The Epcot Tip board is suffering the same problems as the Earth Barge display prior to it's upgrade.

There are a lot of stuck blue pixels and it's getting gradually worse and not being fixed. It's really looking a mess, particularly as it is one of the first things a guest sees on entering the park.

Maybe I'd have a different opinion if I were to see it in person, but it looks pretty cool to me.

I'm not sure that's not intentional. The "stuck" pixels are all in the blank space below the text, could it be someone's idea of an artsy space filler?

If the board was failing, would stuck pixels be throughout the board? :shrug:

That's what I was thinking. :shrug: In all honesty, it looked okay to me. Certainly the attractions and times were clearly visible. I'd really have to see it in person.

I don't see what's wrong...the "stuck letters" that I see are backwards and just glare on the camera (as you can tell since some of the letters go over the metal post in front of the tip board). Looks more like a poor quality picture than anything...

No it it actually failing - it's from the same vendor as the original RoE, and is failing in the same way. The stuck pixels appear in all of the displays, be it text, or the video they show. I don't know if the original poster has another shot of it, I might have one somewhere, I'll have a look.

The bottom of the board has many of the pixels not working and they are continually stuck in the "on" position. It's been like this for quite some time (last few months) but recently has been getting worse. Not too noticable during the day but at night you will really notice it.

It isn't stuck letters, but stuck pixels. I have circled the area that has the problem. It isn't a poor quality picture either - it's very accurate to the scene it shows

Saw those yesterday, but I thought they were decoration to fill empty space or something.. looked like stars, and a few of the little "pixels" or whatever flashed on and off.
And yeah, the picture shows exactly how it looks. So nice pic! :animwink:
