Epcot Space restaurant - any updates?

I take it you haven't been watching the "news channels" - Latest Look at Space Restaurant Construction in Epcot. It's slated to open "later this year."
Yes, later this year since May. I was asking to see if anyone knew an actual date/month.

Nothing "happened" to it.
It still has a bit of construction to go and Disney has said it will be opening in late 2019.

I take "later this year" to mean the fall/winter of 2019, which hasn't even started yet. Nobody yet knows the actual timing.

BTW on the thread that you posted about resort time/pool time and being back to the resort at 7pm nightly I just wanted to give a warning that ever since Disney pools are not open 24 hours and "swim at your own risk after a certain time" they tend to close pretty early in the fall/winter.
When I went in February the pool closed at 8pm and I never got a chance to get in.
Good to know. Thank you. I guess then we will only have one morning of pool time.

I've been Googling around for information on it too, @mdcpr. I'm 2 weeks away from making ADRs for a February 2020 trip and was hoping to snag one for Space 220 (or whatever the official name ends up being). Will just have to keep an eye out for announcements of an official opening date (and a date they'll start taking ADRs) -- whenever it happens, we're likely to hear it here first.

Yeah...I've been watching as well. I am hoping to ditch my Garden Grill ADR and have this as my post half marathon meal. Really hoping for some good cocktails that involve the use of Tang!

pools are now locked when there are no life guards on duty. Pools have fixed hours. I believe 9am to 10 pm. gone are the days when you could swim at ant time.

Nothing yet; I checked for my Jan 31-feb3 short trip. I am hoping I hear before they completely get booked up...
