Epcot Resorts Question regarding Epcot

So in the morning at opening, obviously, Epcot Resort guests can use the International Gateway entrance into the park. Do they let you in a few minutes early so you can catch up to everyone getting in the front of the park, or do they open it up right at 9:00?

A month ago they let us in at 8:45am.

They let us in about a half hour hour and let us corral up before FutureWorld. The front entrance Guests still beat us, not by a lot, and we were still some of the first into Soarin.

Last June we stayed at Boardwalk. If you plan on going to the early entry, plan on getting to the gates about 30 mins. early. As others said they let you get as far as the entrance to FW. When we were there the area was roped off where they put up the big Christmas tree, closer to WS. The front guests definately beat us, our oldest went ahead with tickets to get FP's for Soarin' but the stand by line was still short enough for us to go ahead and get in line. Go plenty early and you can get some nice photos in WS without any 'background bottoms'
