I was thinking about a project, a project that would take good 'ol Epcot, and make it something better. Better? How?

Well, I was thinking about taking the old pavillions, revamped them, building new pavillions for FW and WS, and taking the Disney Village from DL Paris, and implanting it into Epcot.

I was thinking renaming Epcot back into Epcot Center, and naming the park, something like Epcot Learn, and the residental/hotel/shopping/entertainment/recreation (and more :ROFLOL: ), Epcot Live.

I have some ideas from other threads (and myself); what do you guys think? Should we do it?

I like it, I'd like it to be more of an epic World's Fair with more amazing pavillions (on the same themes as we currently have). Definitely have scope to give the park a bigger wow factor.

Great to know that you're interested. So, do you want to sign up for the projects?

I had an idea for a Seas attraction, the "wienie" would be a mini Oceano (whatever it was called) dome, like the one from PortDisney, where the attraction showcasing how we use water everyday (art, energy, entertainment, etc.)! Like?

Three signs. :sohappy:, :sohappy:, and :sohappy:!

So, if anyone would like to start coming up with a plan, feel free to do so. I was thinking of making some guidelines, or something similar. Again, :sohappy:! :D

I'd love if you guys could maybe start brainstorming ideas for pavilions/attractions. ;)

I think the Pavillions should reflect areas that are key for our future, especially combatting issues of water and food scarcity, peak oil, global warming etc. These will have the most developments and inventions to draw inspiration from.

So I propose:

Energy
Communication
Health (Wellbeing, medicine, healthcare, excercise)
Transportation
Earth (Air, land, and oceans)

Any thoughts?

Allissafalco,
A Greece pavilion would be beast! I had a idea for the star attraction to showcase their history in mythology, maybe you enter a temple, learn about how they had their mythology, and maybe the gods come out and you're transported to their world!

Dr. Seeker,

LOVE how you groups them into bigger groups! Here's my other ideas:

Epcot's HUB; A renamed Innvonetions is not just the only thing I'm thinking of. I was also thinking of keeping the retro feel of Commuicore, and bringing back favorites from there too. I was also thinking of incorporated Apple somehow. Any ideas? Should we keep the Commuicore?

Some other ideas for pavilions:

Space Pavilion
Weather Pavilion
Education Pavilion
Entertainment Pavilion (also Arts Pavilion)

Any thoughts?

Space would be awesome!
Not sure about entertainment, because you'd have to show the future of entertainment, and I don't reckon you'd have much to work with (4D Movies?! lol)

Would love to incorprate weather into the Earth pavillion, think that'd all go hand in hand.

As you may or may not know, I granted MA Screamin' permission to use some of my ideas for EPCOT Center (found on my blog) as long as he credits me.

So, let's start at Ocean/Water attraction(s) at Earth Pavillion!

So, for those who aren't truly famillar with The Living Seas Pavillion, it has lost some of it's core theming it the past decade or so, after the Finding Nemo "invasion", per say. So, in order to put Nemo, along with other Disney characters into this area, if we divided the area into parts, we'd give them an part, and that would help us create this place as a whole.

So, we already have some ideas, tell us what you think!

WaterWorks (I got the name from Ideal Buildout, the name credit goes to them, I think!): An interactive playground/exploration-type-attraction, showcasing how water is used everyday, through art, music, energy, transportation, and more!

SeasCabs Revamp (This is Kermit De Frog's idea, not mine!): This would take the Nemo attraction and turn in into an attraction similar to the idea made around '77, without Poseidon, although I was thinking maybe including a myth/sea monsters area, either in the ride, or somewhere else in the pavilion, Kermit, tell me what you think!

Conservation: I was thinking about a conversation show, maybe, hosted by a Disney character, maybe Nemo or Ariel, this was going be put into Project: Gemini, i believe, thoughts, anyone?

That sounds cool.
I think it'd be good if you'd lay out the park, then people could take a portion, come up with how the pavillion looks, its attractions etc.

What do you reckon?

I only excluded Poseidon because he was featured in my World Showcase's Greek pavilion, which had a Greek mythology-based dark ride. If we don't include a Greek pavilion, we could put Poseidon in the Sea Cab attraction.
