Hi this is my 1st post on the message board. Does anybody remember the Epcot poll that was at CCE or CCW (I don't remember which one)? But my question is... They started a poll in 1997 or so, about the person of the 20th century. Did they ever post the results?:brick:

As far as I know, they never did announce that. I think they were supposed to do that Jan. 1, 2000. But I never saw anything.

This may purely be a rumor, but I heard that you could choose from certain people, or type in your own name to nominate, and a certain cast member voted for another certain cast member. This person then told their buddies to vote for this person, then they told their buddies, and so on and so on. People would take their lunch breaks to vote for this person over and over again. Eventually, they made it to number one. This person, of course, nobody knew. And they certainely couldn't give their award to this person. Disney was going to reset their computers to start anew, but rather than lose all of those results, they cancelled the event entirely. That may just be a rumor, but that's what I heard.
