Epcot or Mk to propose?

Everything is set - I have the perfect ring, I found two 'Just Engaged' buttons on Ebay, and also have had a custom ring box made in New Zealand which inside says 'Sarah, will you marry me'?

All I need now is the perfect location!

I know that she isn't the type who would like a public display or dramatic proposal. So I want to keep it simple and romantic.

There are a few parts of WDW that are special to us:

. Canadian Pavillion, Epcot: This is where we first met when we were Cast Members

. Splash Mountain: The ride we took on our first date where we first got snuggly, and held hands coming off (and that was 4 years ago!)

. Magic Kingdom in general, as it was the location of our first date

I want to get down on one knee, but need some suggestions as to the best place, in your opinion?! As mentioned above, I'd like to keep it romantic, simple and ideally at night without drawing a crowd.

Thanks

I would do it on Splash Mountain. At night. There is that outside part, where you round the bend and the castle is all lit up in the distance. Most beautiful spot in all of Disney practically. There are some issues with that plan though in that you can't be on one knee and I might be scared to death of dropping the ring.

Or maybe during Wishes. When everyone is telling their wishes (Pinocchio to be a real boy, Aladdin wishes Gennie free, etc.,) You can tell her you wish to spend the rest of your life together, then get down on one knee.

Man, Disney just lends it self to romantic spots to propose... Good luck!

Wishes is probably not the best thing if you don't want a crowd. I proposed after wishes in the Rose Garden (where they do photo pass) earlier this month and there had to be at least fifty people yelling screaming cheering and clapping. I can't help with the non-public ideas, but this is the link to my proposal ideas thread which has some great ideas fom some very helpful people on here.

Good luck, and the best advice I can give you is just do what you think she will like. If you have been together 4 years, you know what she will like, so don't second guess yourself. No matter what you do she will love it because its you. < thats the biggest lesson I learned when I proposed. But she would probably like to have pictures, so grab a photo pass photographer if you can.

I, personally, love the idea of Canada. So many little areas that you can have a "private" moment, just the two of you. I know that most everyone proposes at MK, and I 100% get the appeal. Honestly, you really can't go wrong with a Disney proposal, so I vote for whatever you think would mean most to your soon to be fiance'. Does she have a greater affinity for MK or Epcot? Start there and then follow your heart.

Best of luck and congratulations!! Let us know how the proposal goes.

I like the idea of Canada as well, since you first met there as cast members. I feel like that's such a special location in your case. (however, wherever you propose in WDW is going to be fantastic regardless. Best of Luck!~
