Epcot on new years eve

Park reservations for epcot is sold out for now..I'll keep checking each day for openings, but whats the likelihood of getting into the park after 2pm for new years? Thinking of purchasing a park hopper and starting at Hollywood studios and walking to epcot before the 2pm. Does the park generally reach capacity and turn away park hoppers on new years eve in the past?

Epcot typically does not reach capacity and now with the majority of construction walls down there is space for people to be. I could be wrong but I dont recall Epcot having phased closure before.

Yeah, I've park hopped from MK to EP around 2-3pm in years past with no problem getting in. I cannot remember ever hearing that Epcot has reached capacity.

Due to excessive crowding, of all the parks MK phase closes first. EP historically has reached phased closing least of all 4 parks.

Though Andrew101 should keep their car parked at Hollywood Studios (if they take a car), unless if they hop early, because Epcots parking lot does fill up and, at the very least, will take a while to leave.
