Epcot Music / Outside Spaceship Earth

I happen to LOVE the music when you first enter Epcot ...right outside Spaceship Earth...as I am going to be there the second week of December (holiday time...) do you think the music changes to a "holiday theme..." i.e. jingle bells? or does it stay the same? I'm very curious ! Thanks!!!

the music does change.

The music you like is most likely Tomorrow's Child (from SSE before Jermey Irons hosted it)
Space (from Horizions)

Actually there is a new soundtrack playing that includes music from EPCOT's different pavilions.

i didn't think epcot's music changed for the holidays...i thought it was only main street's and mgm's...but it's been so long since i've gone during the holidays...do they really change epcots music to christmas music?

I did the college program in the spring of 2000 and have gone down from december 28-Jan 15th the last two years to work. As a custodial host in FWC (under spaceship earth) I assure you that the holiday music plays in Epcot as well

You mean the former music from the pavilions. The only one that still contains the original music for the park is Figment (a variation). Many of the countries still have their original music, but Energy, WOM, Living with the Land, Kitchen Kabaret, SE, all gone!

thanks guys-this really helps...how about the music inside the individual counties...these are still the same correct...?...in other words, do they play holiday music as well? This really helps!!!!!

They are all over Winmx (winmx.com) and all you have to do is search for EPCOT. Some of my favorites are Tomorrow's Child (SE), Energy "you make the world go round" (UoE), The Universe of Energy (UoE), Space (Horizons), Horizons "If we can dream it, then we can do it" (Horizons), It's fun to be free (WoM), One Little Spark (Original Imagination), Listen to the Land (The Land), Kitchen Kabaret (The Land), Golden Dream (American Adventure), Canada "You're a lifetime journey for the traveler" (Canada). Please note that all but the last two (countries) are extinct. One Little Spark has been rewritten for the new Imagination with Figment.

yeah, i'm pretty sure the countries' music stays the same. of course, don't hold me too that, but i'm pretty sure of it.

A little off the subject here but...

I went to Disney World at Christmas time a few years back.
I Loved Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and the Christmas Parade was the best!

BUT....I was really upset about all the Christmas Music Playing in all the parks.

Everywhere I went there was Jingle Bells, White Christmas, Holly Jolly Christmas.

Now don't get me wrong..I LOVE Christmas music...but I hear it at home at Christmas..and at Sears..and at the Malls..and at Home Depot and Target and in the Grocery stores..etc :hammer:

I complained to my wife that when I go to Disney World..I want to hear tha Magical Disney World music!! I was really dissapointed that trip. I felt like I didn't get my moneys worth..lol

My wife thinks I'm silly as you all probably do as well but...having said all that.. WE haven't been back at Christmas time since. :animwink:

Christmas Music

I agree with Scooter. I am addicted to Disney music. When I had something to play it on in my car ,I listened and imagined I was on my way to WDW or walking around a park or something. It's powerful stuff!!! I loved all of the old music and when I listen to that I remember lovingly those gone but not forgotten attractions. The new music that they wrote just for Reflections of Earth is my all time favorite. 58 days to go!!!!

I agree--I loved all the music to all these attractions as well...so I guess this means that the music in World Showcase does not change then? That's my feeling...
