Epcot Monorail

Is the Monorail from the TTC to Epcot running? Or is the only way to get to Epcot by bus?

Epcot monorail is not running. Bus or Skyliner is the only Disney transport currently available.

I have a friend staying at BTL now and he posted a picture yesterday that they were on their way to Epcot (they were in a monorail).

I was hoping it would be running. We’re staying at the Contemporary and it would be an easier way to get to Epcot than a bus. We’re not going until late September.

The bus is faster. I get that it's not as fun, but you're actually gaining time.

I have a friend staying at BTL now and he posted a picture yesterday that they were on their way to Epcot (they were in a monorail).

They may have been on the monorail to the TTC, thinking they could get the Epcot monorail from there. But they were mistaken and would have found themselves having to get a bus from the Poly or another monorail Resort.

The monorail from the TTC to Epcot is not running. I assume they won’t for a while because the monorails are tied up in lower capacity on the MK and Express routes.
